Occupational Disability How Can A Person Receive Occupational Therapy?

How can a person receive Occupational Therapy? - occupational disability

I was diagnosed with a learning disability when I was a child, and most of the time I could say today. However, my fine motor skills are severely impaired (as I am 22 and still have problems sometimes) his pants and tie the meat. How can I get occupational therapy ... I think it benefits me. I am in my last year of college and the need for some fine motor skills on my own life and do my job, because (I a special education) teacher in the purchase of May. Like I said, all my other areas are very good. I do not need a refferral my doctor, neuropsychologist or? Thank you.

I hope you have more OT Medicare is conducted in hospitals. Neuropsych book. OT can handle the referral is a long and slow process, but worth every second invested time ... Good luck and do good things for their students are our future!

here in Australia, an occupational therapist when you see just phone them and talk. Most will be happy to do what is, and how to dissuade.

Go to your doctor. Speak with your concerns and write a reference or to convince him that you do not. But seriously: the necessity that there should be no hesitation.

by your insurance provider ... Your doctor may write a prescription so you can receive treatment and prescription insurance coverage May.

Ask your partner to see if the insurance is covered. Or just find a physical therapist, usually have an OT who works with them.
