What can I eat if I have the stomach flu? - mononucleosis and stomach flu
Really do not know what I have, but seems like a strange combination of stomach flu, mononucleosis and sore throat.
I am able to stay underwater, and I hate vomit.
Is there something I can eat, which I would vomit?

No stomach flu. Influenza is an infection of the respiratory tract. It is more likely that you have a viral gastroenteritis and it will pass. Meanwhile, stick to a clear liquid diet - soups, broths and liquids. Toast, if you can tolerate. Pudding and gelatin. Eat several small meals, 4-6, all day. Food you eat slowly and not too much. If you tolertate meal without vomiting for 24 hours until they are soft, bland food for a further 24 hours. You should be able to a constant, a point or two to grow at a later date.
You can an antiemetic as needed. It is perhaps not completely avoid the possible, to throw up, but you can reduce the risk.

Broth to drink Sprite. Gelatin
Depending on how long you had ...
If you started feeling bad, stay with the liquid until you're really hungry. I wish terribly especially water issues and suggest perhaps a can of Sprite (sprite, just because you do not know if they get sick until the end.) If you're hungry, eat some crackers. If it stays down, take a little toast or mashed potatoes. The softer the better. I know sometimes help some fruit just to stay away from fruit acids ... could make things even worse. If you get sick, go back to liquids only and try again later. Hope you feel better soon!
Chicken Soup:) and crackers
Bread or toast or something
I do not just stick to water with a little lemon, and hot tea, if you could, you can wear soothing chamomile, too.
In addition, you can use the syrup for Coca-Cola try (I think you can get at the pharmacy), which helps with nausea and vomiting.

You should try and see. Fluids are very important to prevent dehydration. Gatorade is the best because of minerals and sugar. Drink in small sips continuously. Then, try to broths, soups, gelatin, pudding and work up to more solid food. Take small quantities at a time until you see what you can tolerate.
